Whitney Petersen

Owner & Aesthetic Nurse, MSN, RN

Whitney received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of North Dakota in 2013 and her Master of Science degree in Nursing in 2019. She began her career in Breckenridge, MN working in various settings, including Emergency Department, Acute Care, and Same Day Surgery. Following her time at the bedside, Whitney began her seven-year career as a Nurse Educator at the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND.

Following her long-time interest, she began training with experts in Medical Aesthetics for neuromodulators, dermal filler, and laser technology.

Whitney opened WHIT Aesthetics in Breckenridge, MN in January 2022.

What brings Whitney excitement about this field is working with clients to create an individualized treatment plan helping to achieve their aesthetic goals while enhancing their natural features.

In her free time, Whitney enjoys traveling, golfing, attending concerts, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

AUGUSTA ABEL

Aesthetic Nurse, RN

Augusta is an Aesthetic Nurse Injector & has been with

WHIT Aesthetics since 2022. She is a hometown graduate of the North Dakota State College of Science where she received her Registered Nursing degree. After graduation she worked primarily in the Operating Room & Emergency Department. Augusta’s nursing career shifted to aesthetics in 2022 when WHIT Aesthetics opened. She is trained & proficient in injectables including tox & filler, microneedling, PRP, chemical peels, & relaxing & clinically effective facials. She also has a love for lasers whether it is hair removal/reduction, IPL, collagen stimulation or resurfacing.

In addition to learning & growing in her nursing profession, Augusta brings positive energy & a friendly personality to WHIT Aesthetics. She enjoys educating clients while building a confident & trustworthy relationship. Her goal is to help clients enhance their natural beauty & gain confidence.

Outside of work you can find her baking in her kitchen, enjoying the fresh air with family & friends or relaxing with a good cup of coffee.

Aesthetic Nurse, RN

Amy graduated from the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis in 2007, where she received her esthetician license. She then went on to obtain her LPN in 2010. Driven by a passion for facial anatomy and helping others feel confident through injectable treatments, Amy pursued and obtained her RN degree from North Dakota State College of Science in 2014. While attending nursing school, Amy began her aesthetic career in 2011 and worked as an aesthetic nurse since.

The team at WHIT Aesthetics is proud to bring her extensive knowledge and experience injecting neurotoxins and dermal fillers as well as performing laser hair removal, and light-based laser treatments to our patients. Amy has an eye for aesthetic detail and facial balancing and thoroughly enjoys forming relationships with her patients.

When Amy is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her two young kiddos, Lyla and Logan and they definitely keep her busy. She has mastered starting new books and rarely finishing them and often is getting sucked into the latest murder series or Bachelor/Bachelorette episodes. Amy thoroughly values meaningful friendships and rarely turns down a coffee, supper or shopping date with her peeps.

JAMIE UPTON

Medical Director, DNP,NP-C

Jamie Upton serves as WHIT Aesthetics Medical Director. He is a Fargo native and graduate of North Dakota State University with his Doctor of Nursing Practice.
